I have a day job but also do stuff on the side. Real estate stuff, business videos… Im shooting on a Sony EX-1 at the moment. I’ve been researching and saving for the canon c-100 mark II but wouldn’t mind a dedicated camera for my Ronin. I need a camera to be wide angle but not fish eye. I’d also like to take still pictures and incorporate them into the video. I’ve been researching the Panasonic GH4, Sonys A7s and the canon Mark III. I’ve been keeping lens in mind too. The gh4 is 4K but when it gets to you tube or Vimeo does anyone care that it’s 4K? The gh4 is a 16 megapixel stills and not full frame. The markiii isn’t 4K but then again does that really matter if it’s full frame and shoots great stills. The canon c-100 doesn’t shoot stills so does this mean I need two cameras anyway? Someone needs to make one full frame, 4K DSLR size camera with XLR audio that shoots high res stills too.
