If you have a website, you may want to secure a few more of the new domain extensions to protect your site’s name from squatters and traffic parasites. I own several domain names for active websites and future projects. For some of the names, I also secured most of the domain family with associated extensions in addition to .com like .net, .mobi, .info, .org, .biz, .us, etc. to prevent squatters from price gouging if I wanted those others in the future. It’s just another money eating black hole.
