We’re off to Russia for the Winter Olympics. Anyone been there recently and can update on the usual questions? I’m interested in carnet arrangements (have an active one, have been told I need an additional letter from my employes authorizing me to have and use the gear for the duration of the trip), and cell-phone/sim-card availability? Can anyone suggest a local cell carrier with good coverage and a large pay-as-you-go data plan? Do they have 4G? Many thanks.
