The C300 definitely seems to be flavor of the month. Everyone seems to be shooting with them. Some production companies I know are buying their 3rd one because they are so popular.
I love that they finally made the F5 a camera you can put on your shoulder, and could run n’ gun with. I believe its also 10 bit 4:2:2 rather than 8 bit 4:2:2 50 Mbps like the C300. Plus its capable of 4K if / when that really takes off.
I’m also sort of thinking about a 5D iii (mostly because I need a new still camera), or the BMCD 35mm camera that’s coming out, but not as seriously as the other two.
What are you guys seeing / using / planning for in the future for large sensor broadcast doc’ or medium to higher end corporate cameras (I’m not planning to use it for news).
