I’m looking at using this for another application too but thought it might be useful for those that shoot on or around water. It’s a small recovery device that when significantly hydrated deploys a rubber balloon that they claim can float around 2 pounds of weight. So it’s not going to save a full size rig but if a smaller camera goes in the water, you may at least be able to salvage the video cards. It also has an internal LED beacon for night recovery.
