Posting demo stuff to youtube and vimeo

When I post videos to these sites, there’s always a warning telling me not to upload copyrighted material that has aired on television in the United States. As staff photojournalists at TV stations, would we fall into the category of "artists showcasing their work?" And if so, wouldn’t it still stand that we’re putting up material that is intellectual property of the company we work for?

Just wondering how many of you post your photog demo material online these days, and if so, do you feel you are violating youtube and/or vimeo’s terms of use? Has anyone heard of cases where youtube or vimeo closed someone’s account for doing this?
