For those who have gotten the Hero 2, have you noticed that the battery doesn’t last as long as the Hero 1 does? It looks like I am getting about 1.5 hours on the battery. On the Hero 1, about 2 hours. The Hero 2 says 2 hrs 20 mins when turned on.

The other problem that I have encountered is the lens fogging up. I know that the camera runs hotter, and it seems the lens fits tighter in port. I have read the same problems on another board with different solution, but have been hit and miss.

But using the remote is a blast! No more up your nose shoots since the red light on the remote informs you that you are recording. Been using it on my mountain bike. I purchased a metal mount that fits on the seat rails…Sweet! No camera shakes! After cycling the battery on the wi-fi bac, I am getting longer run times that match the battery life of the Hero 1. Presently, I use the Hero1 as a rear camera, but that may change because of the metal mount doesn’t vibrate as the plastic mount with an extension arm on it. The Hero 1 was getting wear marks.
