I Passed on a gig so passing info along

I returned a call from KOCE in Huntington Beach CA. It's in Orange County. It's a photog position like most shoot, edit ,light, etc... The title is Chief Photog. You will be the only photog. What's the catch ? One thing it's PBS and the next thing is that they offered a salary in the mid 40's. I told them thanks but no thanks. So if you want to work in Southern Ca then go to the KOCE website and the job info is there. Keep in mind that the average 1 bed rm apt there is about a 1200.00 per month.

After talking with Mike the hiring agent I asked him how does he expect someone to live off a mid 40's salary in CA. He said that he was having a problem getting someone hired. Maybe someone is in the area ( a college grad) and needs a gig I suggest you call them. I think thy are trying to fill the spot. ASAP. Good luck all.

Yea, I heard that they don't like to pay. A few years ago, they posted a shooter positon....10 years of experience.....$20 bucks an hour....You are really being paid in sunshine.....And that station does alot of shooting.
