Hopefully the reputation and infractions system works? I was thinking to myself, how does one be considered a "pro?" Should we all list/register a work email from all our respective stations? But then what about freelancers? Shall we limit the PRO forum only to those who work directly in the news?

Yes, I can see how Grinner may rub people the wrong way, coming in new and on his high horse show this and that off. Typical MR VJ grad boasting gear and shooting with a handycam. (Exhibit A: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueUiIW92dy4 / Exhibit B: http://grinnerhester.com/NewDigs.html ) But he, supposedly, just like all of us, make a living in the media business... does that make him not a pro?

I may well be in the minority but I use the term "pro" significantly more when describing peoples' miens than their means.

But I feel the same way. It's not about years in.

It's about character. Not being a character for self-aggrandizement.
