The "Alva"-nator" Like the Terminator is was sure death if you were assigned her. My 2 cents...

We had one reporter that needed instant gratification after EVERY live shot... "How'd that go?" "Did it make sense?" "Did I look stooopid?" etc... the Desk nicknamed her 'The Labrador'.

I think every shop has one referred to as "Princess". A few years ago, one station I worked at had a reporter/anchor we referred to as Jaynazilla.

Other common names I have heard for reporters:

Bitch
Asshole
Idiot
Pretty Boy
Airhead
Glamour Queen

Most of the reporters I have worked with over the years have been real pros, but there have been some prizes....

Well,

This may not be new...But considering I've been called a beta donkey enough times, I always like to refer to my reporters as "Mic Monkeys"..

Just seems to roll nice eh?!?
