Brian, do you need drivers for this? Hopefully not but I assume you probably need some variant of the p2 drivers.

no drivers needed on my macbook pro - that i know of.
i have a lot of P2/panasonic stuff installed on here already (P2CMS, etc.) so i might have already had what i needed. the reader DOES come with one disc with drivers, etc....
