How to jump back in...

Well...first off! What's up everyone? It's been ages since I have been here. Last time I was here...I had just moved to Australia.

Now...question at large. I want to get back into the industry. I was doing video on cruise ships (don't ask) and well...realized that I missed doing news editing and shooting other stuff. I have a current portfolio (youtube.com/photogcowboi30) up but I do need advice on what my next step is. I'm currently in New Zealand and are considering coming back to the US? Any advice and leads as to where I can go?

Being by a beach would be nice... anywhere warm works though!

Well...I know they are starting a new Caribbean News Network in the coming year...but it may be much like your work on the Cruise ship with lots of effort and few days off at less than US pay.

But that would get you back closer to the states and still be by the beach after a hard day at work!
