So, thanks to FNC and various conservative watchdog organizations, a line in the upcoming minimum wage increase legislation that would have EXEMPTED Del Monte employees in American Samoa and other U.S. protectorates in the Pacific from a wage increase was REMOVED after howls of critics. The line was authored by the office of Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Speaker, of California.

Del Monte is headquatered in Pelosi's CA district, and would have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional labor costs had it been able to continue paying employees the current minimum wage. Pelosi's husband also owns $17 million in Del Monte stock.

Have a nice day.

Who said anything about the GOP? Not me. The issue here is the Gentlelady from the great state of California and her now-busted attempt to make minimum wage workers EVEN POORER than they were before, that's all.

GOP? We don't need no stinkin' GOP here!

I thought we elect these people to look after our interests not theirs. I hope the media in her area fry her.
