Thats awesome! I put Go Pro's on Dogs for a TV Show called Extraordinary Dogs: http://ruff.co.nz/Blog/Blog.php I wish I had though to get them to retrieve them.

I used the GoPro Chesty mount, and tightened it up with gaffer tape. It worked really well on medium to large dogs. Mounted it on the back looking forward through the head / ears. It worked well for about a minute at a time, then it would flop and need to be reset.
I experimented with the camera on the dogs chest as well, but the movement was too much and the picture unusable.
