Final Cut Version 1

I need to know what type of video format will import into FC version 1. Before everyone says...upgrade...this isn't for me...this is for a client that wants my video for a project. Any help would be great. I need the best quality video option. Thanks

Personally, the client should tell you what format they need. This isn't your job. You either provide what you have or convert accordingly. FC1... whoa... that's a long time ago. Probably dv/ntsc 48khz interlaced 4x3 (720x480).

All they need to do is look at their easy set ups and tell you what they can edit.

FCP 1 should just take a NTSC 4:3 or PAL 4:3. That is a long time, ago!
