Myself and an anchor at my station have both been victims of a new scam on eBay. Essentially you buy something and the seller marks it shipped and uses a fraudulent tracking number that will show the item was delivered even though it wasn't. Because there is a tracking number that shows the item delivered, eBay customer service won't approve your Buyer Protection claim and you lose your money. The item was marked as shipped via USPS but when I went to the post office they told me that the tracking number listed was not a USPS tracking number. Furthermore, eBay sent me a notice that they were removing my negative feedback for that seller. The items I ordered were two Sony NPF-970 batteries from seller eshop-best. Just be aware and careful using eBay.
