Cameraman Attacked - Attacker Sentenced

I didn't expect him to get active jail time BUT.....

The man who attacked me with a stick back in January, Danny Kirkus Sr., was sentenced to 7 days in jail this morning after pleading guilty to the charges.

He also has to pay $600 restitution for damage to the camera lens.

Seems like a mild sentence to me. I wonder what kind of sentence I'd get if I attacked a random, non-media person with a stick. Something tells me it'd be more than 7 days.

It's not as much as I'd like to see but it's also better than nothing! At least he was held responsible for his actions......maybe next time him or other people will think twice
