Just when you thought it couldn't get worse, it's much worse, as far as the amount of new competition. If it's not technology architects, the tv networks and affiliates, it's the liveshot backpacks, the new live stick, Periscope, Facetime and many others that are in a contest to see who can absolutely obliterate the human tv workforce the fastest.
The new Fresco Dispatch application will actively search for available still and video shooters that are already close to the target location determined by the users' GPS settings in their phone. The article says that 70 stations have signed on for a $700 per month access fee.
