If you spent any time on the World Trade Center “Ground Zero” site following 9/11, the New York Press Photographers Association wants to hear from you.
According to David Handschuh, former president of NPPA, the NYPPA has “launched a very important survey that will conclusively determine the level of exposure that journalists incurred while covering the attack at the World Trade Center and define the level of illnesses that our community faces as a result of that exposure.”
If you, or any other journalist (reporter, photographer, editor, producer, technician) you know, covered the story, please go to NYPPA.org or go directly to the survey.
David Handshuh took this picture of the WTC and was injured with a broken leg during the disaster.
