I know the sales guy said it would do this…
I’m using the Sony 700 HDXDcam, editing on a laptop using Edius. Normally I use the XDcam tool to bring in my video firewire from the camera.
I bring in all the video, and can use the proxy files to edit while the HD files download in the background.
The sales guy said there was a way to bring in just the proxy video (I know how to do this part) then once you’ve edited, only bring in the HD video you actually need (as opposed to bring in all the raw)
Anyone know how to do that last step?
