I've got to say, fair play to Tom Cruise. He came off really well against the idiots who squirted him with water at the UK premiere of War Of The Worlds.

Be interesting if said freelance camera crew hang out here. What gives guys? Someone with sense must have realised this kind of prank wasn't going to go smoothly!

Yes, exactly. Some guys badly thought out prank makes the rest of our jobs harder.

These are the same guys who tried to get the Queen mum's funeral cortage with a speed camera.
They get arrested on a fairly regular basis, i'm surprised no one picked them when they showed up.

A smart publicist would make sure tom got squirted as it keeps his name all over the newspapers as the "latest blockbuster" wheezes it's way on to a screen near you.
If he had laughed & called the presenter a bastard nothing would have come of it. The whole thing would have probably been left on the edit room floor. Now he's made a big issue about it, this thing will now grow from a mole hill to a mountain with certain re-precussions.
