The router is HD-SDI and the card is made by Kona. We can get the Kona to see VITC. I am told that FCP generally will not accept TC unless it is controlling a machine, which is not practical for our application. Thanks!

104imdirect Well-known member Sep 3, 2011 #6 Put it in after If you can't get TC in when you bring the media in, add the TC after the fact. Modify menu->Timecode.
