Need help with Compressor 3.0.5

Hi guys ,

Please help me out with this problem.

(a) I am about to FTP an NTSC 16:9 HDV QT movie to the server but I want to compress it using . . . . compressor 3.0.5


(b) In the SETTINGS TAB should I use a setting from the DVD folder ( 10 groups ) or should I use a setting from the FORMATS folder ( 5 groups ) ?


Also , which setting from the SAID SELECTED FOLDER should I use ?

Sorry to keep answering your question with more questions, but it'll help eventually.
You say you're FTPing to a server. Is this a playback server that will end up playing your story to air?
If that's the case, there should be a compression standard that you should be working to, and you should ask the people you're sending it to.
If not, please detail the process that it's going to go through before being aired...who you're sending it to, what they're going to be playing it off of, etc.
