This has been an ongoing problem for the past four months with no soloutions to the problem . We have contacted Sony , Avid , spoken to others in the business and have seeked assistance from the Avid Community forum but without any success.
Problem : Avid Media Composer 3. 5 captures both audio and video from an HDV camera BUT would not capture niether audio or video from a Sony GV - HD700 deck. The deck can controlled from the avid capture tool using the laptop buttons . . . FF, REW , PLAY , etc,etc , but just would not capture the input signal.
Does anyone have the answer to this problem ? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
