I'm looking at upgrading my system. I'm running Vegas 8 Pro and have been using Vegas since Version 4. I just like having everything Sony. Anyway, there are seemingly more clients who want editing done in FCP so they can just put the files into their McSystems after the McCutting and McEffects are done. For that reason, I'm looking at possibly buying an Intel Mac this time... so I can work in both worlds. Has anyone gone that route? If so, how's it working out? Thanks in advance.

Everyone I know of that has run Vegas under Windows on an Intel Mac says it runs faster than on a non Mac machine. Go figure.

I think it's a great way to go at this point as it gives you a lot of options.
