Brian, the service manual from the Sony PDW-700/PDW-F800 isn’t mentioning any installation procedures for the CBK-HD01 (HD/SD SDI input board) or CBK-SC02 (analog composite input board). The installation guide from the CBK-HD01 itself says the following:

If this unit is installed incorrectly, personal injury or damage to peripheral item may occur due to fire, shock, or other accidental circumstances. To avoid such risks, installation should be performed by trained service technicians.
To the technician installing the unit
For installation instructions, please refer to the INSTALLATION MANUAL supplied with this product as well as this INSTALLATION GUIDE.
I personally think it's better that you let do this by Sony.
