For those of you who are in charge of the Video Tape Editors at your station, what do you look for in a demo reel when hiring for a new tape editor? Do you want to see the entire newscast, or just portions of the newscast that were edited by the applicant, since not ALL of the video in the newscast was edited by the tape editor? I would imagine packages would help? Any advice would be much appreciated!
