How often do you critique the photogs on your staff?

Monthly Critiques

I critique monthly. They show me 4 stories and get feedback. The ND made this a requirement for year-end evals.

It's not very inspiring to see only one response to this thread. How about a new twist on the question...Is critiquing over-rated? I sure as hell don't think so. I think it's very important.

I individually critique each photographer every two weeks. We do group critiques once a month. We are starting a video exchange critique program with another market next month. I think the only your staff will ever really improve is through consistant feedback and encouragement.

For me it depends, as we know schedules aren't getting any easier.
