We had an extra-ordinarily active day here in Greensboro, NC.

The DH Griffin Wrecking Company of Greensboro has been around the world imploding buildings, but today marked the first time in the company's 40 (or so) years that they imploded a building in their home town.

Lenslinger has a great take on the day....and me...well I'm alway's looking for an angle!

Did one of those years ago in Memphis when they imploded the old King Cotton Hotel. Think we had
7 cameras on it. I had the view from The Mud Island
walkway above the monorail. It was cool until the
dust cloud that followed. Pretty much engulfed me
before I could clear the area. Still amazes me
how they can do that with buildings all around.
That's truly a job you can't screw up..
