Standby
We have BMS radios too.
Had the same problems with loss of audio. Everytime it happens, I have to turn it off and back on.
About the bars and stuff... EVERYTIME I change a setting, channel, power, etc., I switch to standby. Otherwise it shows a fault light.
I heard some talk of software upgrades for these units. Don't know if ours were upgraded or not.
On a positive note, our live shots look better than ever, video quality anyway, and we can go live in more locations than we could with the old analog radios. And best of all, for most local lives, we don't even have to raise the mast.
