WILL BETA SP RUIN SX HEADS??

Its 60 mins for the High Maintenance long winded reporters that want to ask 1 million questions to 1 million people. (CAN YOU TELL I HATE THEM??)

I haven't noticed any quality loss??

Any input would be great!

sp will run it sx with no problem, our master control does it on a daily basis

but remember...

It will NOT play back in an SP machine if recorded in SX and SX tapes are considerably cheaper than SP tapes...I'm still using tapes that are almost 5 years old...not constantly mind you, but I never had a dropout.

You can use SX tapes in an SP machine in a pinch too. You just have to cover up the little hole on the side opposite the one with the record protect tab.

I've only done it once or twice, but with good results.

I don't know if it's bad for the heads or not.
