White House Attire

I'm going to the White House to cover an event. What is considered proper attire for a photog?

Inside the white house use to require shirt and tie with Jacket. But that was years ago.

I last worked there in 2010. At that time, if you were just covering an event there really isn't a dress code. I wore a polo shirt and khaki shorts. However, if you are conducting a one-on-one sit down interview with the President or another official INSIDE the White House anywhere but the briefing room, you need to wear a suit and tie.
