Chicago-based Meinhardt Productions is looking for a qualified SNG operator/engineer to join our expanding team in the operation and maintenance of our uplink trucks. Immediate part-time and full-time positions available.
We specialize in network news and network sports, have a good variety of assignments, and have been called in to cover many of the high-profile national news and sports stories in the last few years (presidential campaign trail, NCAA Final Four, Boston Marathon bombings, Moore, OK, tornado, Sandyhook School shootings, College bowl games, to name a few). We take pride in doing quality work, keeping a well-maintained fleet with all of the latest gear and tools, and fostering a professional, yet fun atmosphere.
The right candidate will be self-motivated with a good work ethic, and able to work well with our very special network clients and partners. Some consideration will be given to the right candidate that lives outside of the Chicago/Midwest area.
REQUIREMENTS:
--Experience with television news operations.
--Experience with satellite truck operations.
--DOT medical card (CDL not required), with clean driving record.
--Schedule involves travel and extended work hours, but also includes ample down time.
--Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
