Doing a story on PRISM, and looking for vision of a giant radio dish scanning the sky?

Dont use this place.
Its a radio telescope.
NOT an eavesdropping thing.


Some US Based news outlets have used vision of the Parkes Radio Telescope to illustrate the story.
Its an ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY.

Use THIS instead. Its Pine Gap. Thats where the spooks do their secret squirrel stuff....

Yep.
One packaged report from the US that ran here yesterday featured the Telescope prominently.... VERY prominently...

The inference was that this astronomical observatory is a secret ground station for PRISM.

I rang the CoS as soon as it went to air, and the reply was stunned silcence followed by "Oh my God".

It was recut before the six pm bulletin, thank goodness.
