Anyone have any opinions on this? As far as pay/equipment/quality of work/decency of people...anything really. The pros and cons.

I don't think the pay is too great, but the gear is fine, and the product IMHO is top-notch. I would be very proud to work for PBS. How many news organizations can you say that about?

I don't know about other places, but if I remember correctly the PBS in Seattle was the first in the market to go digital. Close to a year and a half before anyone else.
