Surely we all got into video cuz it's fun. I think sometimes we can forget that in our daily grind.
This project had not other motive than to have a great freakin' time. My two favorite lil freelancers and I went out in the boonies and they directed a fun short that should have been free to make.
That is, had we not pitted my lens with roman candle fire :cool:

Sure did. Wound up being a 600 dollar day (found a used FX1 lens)
It's cool though. A pitted lens makes a brother feel free to... well to pit it more.

My sons and I did that one in the back yard. They wanted to practice stop motion skills and I wanted to play with stop-motion tilts, pans and zooms. Fired directly at the lens a couple of times and really did a number on it. I now have a cheap Tiffen protector over the lens dang near all the time. It reflects in direct sun so I remove it for those occasions but it'll save me another lens replacement sooner or later.
