Hello B-Roll...
It's been awhile since I've posted anything online... lots o'changes have happened in our industry the last few years and my facility has been right there with all those changes. It has kept me busy to say the least.
In any case, I would like to have some ideas from the group. We just purchased a Ford Transit van to be used as a "mobile newsroom." It has been outfitted with a small workspace in the rear of the van, but I am looking on some thoughts on how to secure the gear in a orderly fashion. I'm wondering if anyone else is running with these out there and what they have come up with in terms of gear organization.
Our standard gear assignment is a HPX170 camera, Sachtler tripod (FSB4) accessory pack and with this specific unit a LiveU and a notebook PC will go with it. I'm looking to assign the driver side sliding door as the "gear door" (so the MMJ can enter/exit on the curb side).
So I'm looking for ideas--either "homebrew" or custom built that others may be using out there.
