Today I jumped out of the truck, set up the tripod and mic' for our quick interview and realized "DOH!" the camera was still back at the station! 
This is the first time (and hopefully the last) that I've ever done this! Usually I double check that I can see the wireless anteana sticking up in the rear view mirror as I back out. However, today it was raining, so I had the antena on a BNC elbow under the rain coat.
Fortunately we were only in the next town over from the station so it wasn't a hugely big deal. I zipped back and got it. I heard one of our photogs once went all the way accross the state for a story but forgot to bring the camera.
Any one else have some good recent flubs?
