Need to hire a video cameraman (or woman) for shooting a series of interviews for a DV documentary. Will be in several different interior locations in the Boulder area. We supply camera and lights.

$400 a day, approx 3 days shoot

That's actually not bad. When I started freelancing almost ten years ago, $300 was the labor rate to shoot Beta. I'm not saying I'd do it, but that's not bad, especially for a craigslist post.
 
Looks like it was titled,"For a Change...."

$1,200 for 3 days of shooting with someone elses gear ain't bad if you have nothing else booked.

They just don't understand that this is what we do for a living to feed our families. Yes, it might be "fun" but we chose this career because we are good at it. These guys have never seen the inside of a studio or TV station, never been to college, never worked on a film crew and obviously never paid their dues like we have.

We are looking to add a second videographer to a sexy calender shoot coming up in Tempe on Sunday August 26th. We would prefer someone with a Canon XL-2. We are also looking for a sound person. The composition of the shoot will be a "behind the scenes making of the calender with short interviews of all 12 girls. This will probably be a 4 to 6 hour job. Independent Documentary on MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL

I am seeking crew with equipment (camera- 24p capable, tripod, sound, basic lighting) for an independent Baseball documentary.

Starting with the phillies in LA this week, I will be granted media passes for pre and post game interviews with names that will be released accordingly. The documentary will continue for the remaining 16 series on the West Coast (San Diego, Anaheim, and LA).

I need someone that can meet the professional standards of the opportunity, and my personal standards for the project (which are pretty basic).

Unfortunately, the budget is without necessary sponsorship.

So beyond the unique experience, this is for COPY, CREDIT, MEALS, and POSSIBLE networking opportunities.

This is a fun unique project that has developed small but significant interest that is intended for nationwide studio distribution and/or network publishing. I apologize for the limited organization at this time. Had it not been for serendipitous/lucky occurences in recent weeks this would not be out here.

On August 18th we are having WomonFest2007 a all women event. This is the 16th annual festival with two music stages going all day, PBS Point of View movies, arts crafts workshops and more. We want to film but the rules state everything must be done by women for women.

Anyone out there want to come down and help out. We will certainly pay for gas and film....we have Tracy Walker, Tracy Rice, Katie Laur Bluegrass Band, Jamie Anderson, Robin Stone, Jayne Sachs, Frozen Feet, Raison D'Etre and more...

We are seeking pro-videographers with good A/V AND Windows computer experience for recordings and/or live Internet streams, normally lasting 2-3 weeks. These events are mainly in civil courthouses and require a high level of professionalism, appropriate apparel (dress pants and button down shirt), good communication skills and the ability to improvise and think on your feet. The jobs will last for roughly 8:30AM to 5:30 PM M-F with a one hour lunch break.

For Internet streaming events, familiarity with Windows XP is a must, as you would be operating a streaming server and monitoring A/V to ensure a consistently good stream and recording. We will train you on using this system, but basic computer knowledge is necessary. This is a great opportunity to add a new skill to your offerings.

I'm looking for a videographer who is also a music lover who would be interested in shooting footage of an excellent local bluegrass band,

You'd shoot them playing live in a classic venue that may not be around much longer, so I have an equal interest in preserving the "memory" of the venue for posterity.

The Buffalo Sabres will hold a competition to find the next in-game Jumbotron host for select home games for the upcoming 2007-2008 season. With the help of on-line fan voting, the winner will be chosen by the Buffalo Sabres.

The initial entry for the contest will consist of an on-camera audition, explaining in two minutes or less why the contestant would be a unique and interesting in-game host.

There are three ways for interested candidates to enter:

1. There will be a live casting call at HSBC Arena on Saturday August 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Members of the Sabres staff will be available to video tape candidates.

2. A DVD, VHS or Mini DV, along with a headshot photo can be submitted via mail.

3. Video messages and photos can also be dropped off in-person to the Account Services office at HSBC Arena during normal business hours.

The winner of the contest will receive the opportunity to host 10 home games during the regular season. The contest will be a four-round elimination where the top four finalists will compete during portions of two Sabres home games at the beginning of the season (October 11 and 13). The winner will be announced live during the Sabres game on October 19 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
