can ya fit?

Stupid? heck yeah. Do I regret it? Not really. I grew from it.

You grow from defeating cancer. You grow from losing your house to a tornado. You grow from raising a kid.

You don't "grow" from dropping your accelerator to the floor on a black highway and putting everyone else at risk because of your stupidity.

Man Chicago Dog, you have some great posts but when you get your teeth into someone you don't let go.

Because idiots like Grinner need to be exposed for what they are "idiots"

He posted this just a few days ago, giving he impression that he is a good, responsible and concern parent.

While I did make much more money, I also missed out on my kids growin' up. No thank ya. I may go back to bigger billing once they've flown the coop

According to this jerk making less money in order to spend more time with your kids is important but going at 144MPH on a public highway is OK.

144? Mph.... this is not a good thing a all... I am lost though I was trying to find reference he was going 144 in this thread and can not...??

common sense

Yes... lack of common sense is the biggest killer out there..

and... it is good to know fear... fear will save your life.

Times like this remind me of the many lessons about life I've learned from being an actual news photojournalist.

After my first year on the job, I looked back at every fatality I covered & it hit me that everyone of them involved people not using common sense when you look at it with 20/20 hindsight. Then I realized that I had a much better chance at a long life if I used common sense foresight. So I often asked myself "If I do this & something goes wrong, will other people look at it & go 'duh, of course that went wrong, it is common sense'?" If the answer is yes, I don't do it..

He also passes a semi on the shoulder. If he would crash it could be considered a public service but this jerk could take a few innocent people with him.

Everyone does something stupid sometime, but bragging about exceeds stupidity.

Its in the video. He even zooms into the speedometer. After the cop stops him, the cop says he got him on radar going 144. Guess his speedometer is working correctly.

Nino, I'm sorry we don't see eye to eye on spending time with our kiddoes. I've never said goin' tripple digits on a highway is ok though.
couryhouse, I hear ya brother.
This was a few years ago. I've slowed it down on public roads. This is not something anyone has ever heard me brag about. It's posted as a fine example of what not to do. I'm an idiot. I have no problem admitting that. I don't think I've ever met an adrenaline junkie were wasn't. I still trash the car and laugh about it, I just do it on closed courses now. I'm a peace-lovin', happy go lucky, adrenaline lovin' freak. I'm cool with that. While I do a lot of dumb stuff... I just see that I don't do it twice.

I got the Avid suite all hooked up today and fully decorated. I'm diggin' it. I have it set up so that I'm not giving the producer the back of my rapidly-balding melon. We face each other and they have their own NTSC monitor and workstation. I'm gonna make a lil promo video of the new digs Monday.
It's always nerve-racking when ya move an edit suite. I never breathe a sigh of relief until getting everything booted up and tested.

Nino, I'm sorry we don't see eye to eye on spending time with our kiddoes.

I’m so glad we don’t, and please don’t ever try to compare me to you, that’s offensive. With a family that depends on me I would never do something that stupid and irresponsible.

If you think that wasn't OK and was such a bad thing to do then why do you keep that video on Youtube, to encourage other idiots like you to do the same? You don’t sound very remorseful in that video.

Grow up.

and become a cranky old man?
No thank you.
I posted this clip on youtube (not here), as I said, as a fine example of what not to do. I shoot a lot of motorsports as a participant and all of us are adrenaline junkies and idiots. This clip is advice for them to chill in the stands and let the adrenaline die down before hittin' the streets and headin' home. Now, years later, it serves as a promo for Moddin' Art and while I may travel across the nation to make a warm piece with production value about a group of strangers coming together to give a special needs little girl a bike, and that clip may get tens of thousands of views. We've talked about content on youtube before and, go figure, a locked down shot of me acting a fool with no productin value whatsoever bacame part of youtube's profit-sharing program when it passed 200k views. Now, whenever anyone watches any clip from that channel, I see revenue.
So thank you for buying supper last night, man.

Warren, I believe you when you say you'd be ashamed if you were my kid. Makes me wonder how tight you and your old man are/were. My lil freealancers and I are tight and that's all the sweet victory I'll ever need.

I have no problem with you guys continuing to post my youtube clips. I started a thread about moving a studio though. I'm all moved in now as as mentioned, I'll post pics and clippage later this week.

It actually takes intolerance.
And you're right. I have nuthin' to worry about, dood.
I hope you find happiness soon.
