AVID counter-effect for fisheye?

anyone know a quick post solution in the AVID Newscutter or XpressPro environment to "flatten" a fisheye image?

I've tried the 3D "ball" effect hoping to reverse animation but didn't get it. looked to rescale from the corners to either stretch them out or enlarge (to get rid of obvious bending of obviously vertical objects).

I'll continue to play...but thought I might be missing something obvious.

Because Avid's DVE tears up the image so, you'll probably wanna do this in AE.
You were on the right path with the ball. Same thing, really, using warps in AE... it'll just be better on the rescaling of your video. Avid hasn't done much witht heir DVE since it's release with MC v5 in '95. If you exclude, animatte, marquee and Avid effects, it's not evolved at all. I'd love for em to just make a deal with adobe so we could just click a button within the app and use AE as an internal DVE.
