So my station has decided to give the photographers a little power and have allowed us to have our very own "PHOTOG BLOG". On this Blog we give a behind the scenes look at news gathering and how stories are put together. There's bonus video, links to interesting sites and a section for people...
I'll go ahead and start the thread...
Thoughts on the case?
Why do people like him and his brother waste their talent by getting in trouble off the field?
Is this a race issue?
Is the federal government making an example out of Vick?
What should the Atlanta Falcons and NFL do?
Go at it folks!
If you are looking for a job in a very good mid-market station and have at least 2-3 years experience, WWBT has an opening for a News Photographer.
I'm not going to make this into a "job listing" ad, because we are already advertising under "job listings" on this site.
But I am here to tell...
Did anybody besides me see how horrible the camera work and directing was for the Superbowl Pregame, Halftime and Postgame! The game aspect was fine, but all the other crap, was just that, crap.
What did yall think?
Check out this News Action Figure!
Its a little expensive but I have to admit, it looks really cool!
"Its not a doll, its an action figure!"
Would any of yall buy something like this?
Is it just me or is News Photographer magazine more aimed at still photogs than television photogs? Its like 95% Newspaper content and maybe 5% television content. Or am I incorrect? Its just thats the way it seems to me.
Here's the deal...
I've decided to do a little study on reporter and photogs and their parents.
Over 80% of our newsroom reporters and photogs say that at least one of their parents is a "teacher."

You guys...
Since TV-JOBS.com has become anal about people searching through their website...
...Is there another "FREE" site to look up station information listed by market?
