MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST (KYTV) Springfield, MO Multimedia Journalist FLSA: Hourly, non-exempt Department: News Reports To: News Director KYTV (NBC) is searching for a dynamic morning News Multimedia Journalist to join our team of hard-working reporters. Candidate must have passion for news and ability to shoot video, write and edit stories for on-air and online. We need someone who loves breaking news, likes working early mornings and does great live shots. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy reporter with stories rich in detail, and provides active and involved live shots, standups, and tells incredible stories about real people. We have successfully run this apprenticeship for Fifteen years and all of our former apprentices are now full-time Directors of Photography or on their way to becoming one for Go To Team. This position is initially based in Atlanta, GA, and you will work regularly with our Go To Team Cameraman, Jeff McGovern, for clients like Turner Sports, The Golf Channel, MLB Network, A.Smith, HGTV, Scripps Networks, Fox Sports & NBC News. You will be working as a camera assist, running audio, and lighting while learning every aspect of high-end video production. This position has a heavy travel schedule taking the crew outside of Atlanta regularly. At the end of the Apprenticeship phase (8-12 months) we'll move you into a full-time Cameraman position, in your own city outside of Atlanta, and build you to become a Director of Photography for us.
