Default Verizon discontinuing use of TELLULAR devices?

Has anyone else heard anything about Verizon no longer allowing Tellular IFB devices on it's network?

We were told by one of our Verizon Rep's that as of this Saturday, June 30th, they would be turning off any phone lines with tellular devices assigned to them.

I called the Verizon Enterprise support number and they didn't know anything about it.

In case you are wondering what a Tellular device is, it's the unit that acts as a cell phone in a live truck but provides a dial tone for IFB devices like the "IFB Plus Model 2" from Studio Technologies.

Just curious if anyone else has heard anything.

Thanks.
Seamus

The only thing I could find is that 2g is beginning to sunset (and according to Telular, some of their devices were 2g but you can get 3g/4g equivalents now), but the earliest it will be turned off is 2017.
