Panasonic HVX200

I was wondering if anyone was using the HVX200's at their station, that could lend some tips and advice about possible issues and solutions that they have found to work. There are a couple things we are experiencing that I don't see the solution to in the manual. Anyone experienced with these cameras?

they aren't our primary cameras, but we have experience with them. What's the question?

Our sports photographer mentioned to me that the focus was slow acting when trying to manually focus. Also, some issues with the white balance.
