memory card readers

The college is moving from tape to tapeless, and we're going to now acquire on SDHC cards.

My question is, is there a difference in the memory card readers that you can buy at, say, Best Buy, and what we will need to read a 32g card with video on it.

check out some of the sandisk readers. i've had good luck with them. i think amazon.com had pretty good prices on them.

We've been using SanDisk readers with XDCAM EX files. They work well but using SDHC cards the downloading is slow compared to using the Sony SxS cards.

We have readers that will read 4 different cards thinking if we need those we'll be ready. They are under $30 and readily available.
