Getting a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera with Metabones Speedbooster.
Thinking of the Nikon mount although I am starting from scratch with lenses so Leica or Cannon are options.

Never been more than an amateur still photographer so limited knowledge on models. Any suggestions weighing price and performance?

Taking advantage of the 50% off?

If you are starting out, and really don't have any vintage lenses, I would go with native lenses to start off. Sure, you can pick up vintage lenses, but still the FOV will still be big, even with the speedbooster.

Going with vintage lenses, most go with what they have. Nikon is the only maker that has not changed their mount since day one.

Yes the 50% off deal is a motivating factor. Was considering anyway, the discount makes it a no brainer for me.

Not getting any MFT right off, looking at a couple of, reasonably fast, Nikon zoom lenses with the Metabones speedbooster. Figure I can always add lenses.
