F5 Wireless Audio Set Up

I'm going to be shooting w an F5 in a couple of weeks on a run n gun shoot. My audio guy and I are trying to figure out the best way and place to "stick" his Zaxcom receiver to the camera. Have you all seen any good receiver set-ups? The camera will have a cheese plate on top if that adds to the options. Thanks for the thoughts.

I use a plate from the BEC Group on my F55 to mount my Sony dual-channel digital receiver on the rear of the camera. I power the receiver from one of the camera's Hirose ports and I feed both channels into the camera via just one XLR because it's digital. That gives me wireless on channels mics 3 and 4 and the camera mic on channel 1. Channel 2 goes empty.

Dallas: you could also use something like this: http://idxtek.com/products/mwr/

I've got a 2nd Vlock plate with mounting screws that adds another D-tap, and allows a side skeletonized plate to mount parallel to the F3, where you can hang a receiver box, or in my case, a portabrace wireless receiver bag.

Doesn't seem like IDX makes the side mount bracket anymore though. Bummer.

Low cost solution, use a Straddle bag.

I have a side plate with a BEC box for my Lectro SRB receiver. Mounts just like on my HDX900.

Biggest issue is the side connectors on the F5....use right angle cables, if you can get the kind that swivel so you can position them just right, even better.
