Election dress code etc.

Greetings from Germany,

Just from lurking around here I've learned a lot about your ways of production over in the US. Now I've got just a few questions re. presidential elections as I might come over to cover. What advice could you give me, especially dress codes, security on site, general advice? I'll probably be at Trump's HQ on election night. Thanks!

Dress Code

Mikeandcamera,

November can be cold. If under the layers you end up at long pants and a polo you're fine.

If your hair is red white and blue and your hat spins you may get a few odd looks. Trump crowds have been hostile to the media.

I'm a technician in Florida so I roll in shorts until 59 degrees, then its right to parkas, scarves and boots.

I just want to wake up Wednesday knowing someone has won.

God save the republic,

Safe travels,

Omar

I'd say an Hawaiian shirt and pork pie hat. Just kidding. Maybe stage black? Disappear into the crowd.

Great advice guys. Cheers! I was just a tad concerned about dressing up too casual and everybody else would show up in suits. Thanks again and maybe see some of you there, first round is on me!
