Avid training

Does anyone have info on Future Media Concepts based In New York City? I'm looking for an Avid Class. I feel like I'm being left behind in the digital age. Only experience is tape to tape, no non-linear. Any suggestions for an Avid training course would be appreciated.

There is a list of AVID certified training centers on the AVID website. You can also download a free version of AVID from there. I find it is easier to learn non-linear if you are able to use it on a daily basis.
